Digital Game: 3 Little Pig

Game Concept : 
With the given theme of fairytale, we thought of what fairytales we could use and build a game around it.Through team discussion we each came out with different ideas of game concept from the different fairytale we have in mind. Finally, we settled for a collection/survival type game whereby the player has to collect materials in the day in order to build up his home to survive the wolf attack at night. This concept was taken from the fairytale '3 Little Pigs'.

In the game, players use the directional arrow keys to control the pig, attempting to collect as much material as possible to build up their defence rating so that they can survive the wolf attack which comes every night. The duration they are allowed to collect the materials are shown and when the time is up, the wolf comes in to attack. Depending on how far the player has progressed, the amount of defence that would be deducted when the wolf attacks is different. 

There is also a combo system in the game which allow player to collect a certain type of material and this result to the multiply of point system.Collecting more resources would allow the player to increase their defence. However as the resources drops from the top, other hazards such as nukes and bombs are also dropped along together. Players would have to avoid hitting the hazards as defence points would be deducted. Player are to ensure that the defence points they collect is enough to deal with the attack from the wolf. When attack is overcome player would move on to the next day and more defence points is needed as the wolf attack get stronger as each day passed. 



Contribution in team: 
 
As the producer in the team I discuss with team mates and also come out with different ideas of the Theme given.Ensuring that the game idea given are workable and the progression of the game is on par with the project time span given to us.  

As the sound designer I am also in charge of editting audio and ensuring it fits with the theme of our game. All the sound related in the game are edit from different audio software to give a uniqueness to our game sound. The sound effect also give a audio feedback in the game. It help player gain audio hint from the audio feedback that are in the game. 

I also play test in the game to see if there is any changes or amendment needed to be done in the game so my team programmer can make necessary changes or any changes needed for the artist to change in their Art. I also playtest to give feedback to my team programmer and game designer area in the game which need to be change so as to make it be more fun and balance. Ensuring that the whole gameplay is smooth and enjoyable to other player.
